Our fireside discussion examined the paradigm shifts required to move Europe towards the next digital frontier and global competitiveness.

The recent package of EU connectivity initiatives, notably the GIA, can give European connectivity policies the makeover that they need and usher in the quality of services that people deserve. This virtual gathering on 20 September explored ways to surmount barriers to Europe's successful digital transition.
Our 4 May stakeholder forum reframed existing conversations around Europe’s connectivity infrastructure and facilitated a discussion on what is required to maintain healthy internet ecosystems across diverse economic sectors.
During the 27 March EURACTIV-GIGAEurope Digital Debate Series event, the prevailing view was that reskilling and upskilling to increase one’s level of digital competency is a matter that affects citizens from all socioeconomic classes and will be felt by organisations across sectors and industries.
Our 5 December Digital Debate Series event examined how digital technologies can support global efforts to tackle food security issues and ensure the competitiveness of small farms. All agreed that secure, high-speed connectivity in rural communities is key to addressing the dual imperative of ensuring Europe's food security and minimising environmental degradation.
Our 11 October GIGAEurope Autumn Reception was an important opportunity to bring together the connectivity community, policymakers, and private partners as we work towards realising the targets and goals of the EU’s Digital Decade and advancing Europe’s digital transition.
During the fourth EURACTIV – GIGAEurope Digital Debate Series event, on 14 June, policy makers and stakeholders shared the latest discourse on what it would take to accelerate Europe’s successful green and digital transition.
All agreed that standardisation, in its many forms, is integral.
During the 1 February EURACTIV-GIGAEurope Digital Debate Series event, policy makers, civil society organisations, and industry experts discussed how to ensure post-pandemic economic resilience among small and medium enterprises.
This event took place on 2 December 2021. It was organised with with the support of the Slovenian Government Office for Digital Transformation, featuring a keynote by State Secretary Peter Geršak and a panel discussion with representatives from the European Commission, industry and academia.
This EURACTIV – GIGAEurope Digital Debate took place on 12 October 2021 and discussed how to reduce the gap when it comes to digital divides. What investments are needed to upgrade existing networks and roll-out gigabit networks to reach every European?
